Thomas R. Roese is a spectacular Cleveland artist. His newest drawings are architecturals in charcoal, acrylic, and colored pencil, inspired by a recent trip to Germany and currently selling at Dolan/Maxwell gallery in Philadelphia, PA. I visited him at The Print Club of Cleveland’s 29th Annual Fine Print Fair, on September 30th, 2013, at the Cleveland Museum of Art. (Did I mention that I designed his web site at www.thomasrroese.com?)
Rachel N. Davis is owner and auctioneer at Rachel Davis Fine Arts auction house and is auctioneer of fine arts. The upcoming fine arts auction, October 19, 2013, features the Cleveland School Art. Serving about seven auctions per year, the work can be previewed the week prior. She is on the Board for The Print Club of Cleveland. (Did I mention that I designed the concept for her web site www.racheldavisfinearts.com, and currently produce her postcard mailers and larger auction catalogs?)
- Margaret ‘Yuko’ Kimura speaks fluent Japanese and works at The Verne Collection, Japanese print gallery located in Little Italy. As an artist, she uses collage and mixed media and fabric patterns inspired by her grandmother in prints she exhibits regularly throughout the area. The piece shown is from her ‘Paper Windows’ collection of works on paper. (Did I mention that I designed The Verne Collection’s logo, and the concept for their web site at www.vernegallery.com?)
- William Martin Jean recently returned from China with a body of landscape watercolors. He constantly finds new ways to express his art. His studio is located in the Heller Building and was opened to tour during the midtown art walk, Cleveland Sparx City Hop, September 21st, 2013. (Did I mention that I designed his web site at www.williammartinjean.com?)
